Marché Notre-Dame - Place Charles de Gaulle (downtown)

  • Tuesday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. / 8 p.m. for catering (covered market under the Halles)
  • Saturday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. (open-air market)

Marché des Trois-Quartiers - Place Montierneuf

Tuesdays from 4 to 8 p.m.

Couronneries open-air market - Place de Provence
Wednesday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Marché des Montgorges - Rue Léopold Sedar Senghor
Wednesdays from 2 to 8 p.m.

Clos-Gauthier market - Place Léon Jouhaux
Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Markets in Grand Poitiers

CHAUVIGNY - Place du Marché

  • Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (elected Vienne's most beautiful market in 2023 and 2024)
  • Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (food only).
  • July and August Craft market (July 24 and August 14, 2024 from 4pm to 11pm) and medieval market (August 18 from 9am to 7pm - as part of the medieval festival).
  • December and January Every year at the end of the year (before and after the festive season), a traditional truffle market takes place in the Salle de la Poterie and then under the arcades of the Hôtel de Ville, organized by the Vienne truffle growers' association.

BONNES - Church Square
Every 1st Wednesday of the month

LUSIGNAN - Place Isabelle d'Angoulême 
Wednesdays from 8am to 1pm

MONTAMISE - Place de la Mairie (local producers' market)
Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m.

ROUILLE - Under the old covered market
Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 pm (organic market)

Farmers' markets 2025

In July and August, the Bienvenue à la Ferme network organizes night markets with local producers. From 6pm to 11pm, some twenty producers will be offering products from their farms for tasting and sale.

You have the option of concocting your own menu from local produce, then dining on site. Tables, chairs and cutlery are available.

At Saint-Cyr ParkEvery Friday from July 18 to August 22, 2025, a summer market of local producers and artisans takes place on the lakeshore, starting at 5 p.m.!

And to ChauvignyFor those who want to make a splash, opt for the night market! On July 23 & August 13, in the streets of the medieval town, 25 to 30 artisans await you for a night-time craft market from 4pm to 11pm.
