From the 1st to the 4th century A.D., the Gallo-Roman town covered more than 25 hectares and was an important place for cures. Today, it is the remains of the theatre, the thermal baths and the great sanctuary that you will be able to discover during your visit. Every summer, the site welcomes "Les soirées lyriques de Sanxay" for performances of operas of the great repertoire in its Gallo-Roman open-air theatre.
