Following the results of lake water sampling analyses :
Water activities and pedal-boat rentals are at a standstill.
Swimming is prohibited, including for pets, due to the presence of benthic cyanobacteria (on the seabed).
Sailing is available under the supervision of the Centre de Voile du Haut-Poitou.
Individual, unsupervised water sports are prohibited.
Fishing is permitted. Baiting is prohibited.
Scheduled, supervised float-tube fishing days following a protocol are authorized.
In view of these exceptional conditions, access to the Park is free even during the high season.

The leisure centre offers the following activities:
- beach volleyball, golf, catamaran, canoe, kayak, pedal boat, paddle, sailing, optimist.
- rental of electronic scooters in the Park or outside with Trott'In Poitou
- fishing
- ornithological reserve run by the LPO (40 hectares, wetland with diverse flora and fauna, information panels and observation huts), classified as a Regional Nature Reserve in June 2022.
On site as well:
- children's playground,
- picnic area (with tables and barbecues)
- snack-bar Bistro de la Plage on the lake shore (from April to September).
Close to the park there is an area for camper vans (Camping Car Park).
