Among the places to walk in Chasseneuil du Poitou, the park of the RibaudièreThis green and shaded area next to the castle will delight children and adults for moments of rest, relaxation and leisure. It is also a lively place in the summer when many shows are held in the Théâtre de Verdure. Flower beds, sunny and shady green spaces, winding sandy paths and the banks of the Clain river characterize this 2 hectare park.
In addition, the wooden chalet in the park of the clos de la Ribaudière is the summer rental base proposed by the canoe-kayak club of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou From July 1st to August 31st, you can rent a canoe (two-seater or single-seater) for 1 or 3 hours, or even take a night trip (every Wednesday at 9:30 pm in July and 9 pm in August)!
