Of this Romanesque abbey, founded in the 7th century by Saint Achard, there remains today the church of Saint-André, as well as the eastern wing of the conventual buildings, with the monks' dormitory and the chapter house.
The interior of the church reveals a wealth of treasures: a precious 13th century Limousin enamel crosier, sarcophagi from the 12th century.
