From this Romanesque abbey, founded in the 7th century by Saint Achard, the Saint-André church and the eastern wing of the convent buildings, with the monks' dormitory and chapter house, remain today.
The interior of the church is a treasure trove: a precious 13th-century Limousin enamel crosier and 12th-century sarcophagi.
