First a foundry, then a household appliance store, then an important cultural place in Grand Poitiers, le Confort Moderne is an industrial enclave in the heart of the suburbs of Poitiers. A place of creation at the service of artists, it has a concert hall, a vast exhibition space, a club, a bar, rehearsal rooms, a restaurant, residency spaces, a fanzine library and a record shop.
Completely renovated from June 2016 to September 2017, the Confort Moderne reopened its doors in December 2017 and now has, in 8500 m² :

The Confort Moderne is managed by the association l'Oreille est Hardie (OH)/le Confort Moderne. It also houses the Fanzinothèque, Jazz à Poitiers, the Restaurant and the Transat record store.
