The church of Notre-Dame et Saint-Junien was built in the Romanesque style from 1024 to 1110 and then rebuilt in the 15th century with the creation of a Gothic porch on the south side. The north portal dates from the 12th century and has a wide band of 23 keystones carved with characters and animals forming a bestiary of the Middle Ages. Continuing your tour of the church, you will discover a sculpture by Mélusine on one of the exterior capitals of the south apsidiole. Inside, in addition to the capitals decorated with foliage from the 11th century, the 12th century crypt located under the apse is accessible to the visit on either side of the choir.
